(GSM) Slovenia coach Matjaz Kek is confident that striker Zlatan Ljubijankic will be back to full fitness in time for their first match at the World Cup against Algeria.
Ljubijankic was a minor concern with an ankle injury but he has been given the go-ahead to play against the Algerians on 13th June.
I am happy that the injury to Zlatan Ljubijankic is not a serious one and he will be fit for the opening game against the Algerians, the coach said.
There is room for progress in several departments, especially when we don t have the upper hand, but overall I am satisfied with our build-up for the World Cup, he added.
The 26-year-old played more than 155 games for Domazle in 2002-2008 seasons and scored 43 goals.
Slovenia have been drawn in Group C and will also face games against England and the United States.
