Pep Guardiola is bemused by the dressing-room mole at Bayern Munich but says it is a problem for the club to resolve.

There were allegations earlier this season Guardiola had lost patience with some first-team stars over their fitness including Arturo Vidal while his tactical plans for a Bundesliga clash with Borussia Dortmund in 2013 also found their way into the public eye.

The Belgium forward has yet to feature for Los Blancos this season having endured an injury-hit debut 2019-20 campaign.

Hazard s big-money arrival from Chelsea was met with much fanfare but the start of his campaign was held up by a hamstring complaint and he sustained a fractured foot in a Champions League game against Paris Saint-Germain in November having started to show flashes of his best form.

A broken ankle he suffered in February not long after returning from that setback further derailed Hazard s progress and there were suggestions this month he returned to pre-season overweight.

Julian Nagelsmann urges Germany to build on win over France against Netherlands

Germany boss Julian Nagelsmann wants to continue the momentum from their victory over France heading into their final match with the Netherlands before the European Championship in June.

He told a press conference: “It’s about the team believing in itself and this path – even in negative moments in the game.

“We have turned into what we want to con…

Pardew calms talk of title charge

Alan Pardew says Newcastle United fans are not getting carried away with the club s unbeaten start to the English Premier League season.

And there are two more tough assignments to follow in the coming weeks, with fixtures against Manchester United away and Chelsea at home.

Regardless of the outcome of Newcastle s hardest run yet, Pardew believes the supporters are sensible enough to keep their expectations in check.
